The Congress sessions reconvened on Saturday morning.  Here, His Eminence, Archbishop NATHANIEL presents information to the clergy and delegates as the chairman of the Congress.
Young people from Virginia, Ohio and Michigan spend time visiting the displays and meeting one another.
Before lunch, a Service of Thanksgiving (Te Deum) was held in front of the flag plaza in celebration of United States Independence Day.
"God is the Lord and has revealed Himself to us; blessed is He that comes in the name of the Lord."
The service is celebrated each year at the Congress in thanksgiving for the freedom and opportunities with which we are blessed in North America.
The flag plaza is located in front of Avram Iancu Hall, named in memory of the great Romanian war hero.
His Eminence reads the Holy Gospel.

A group of servers pause for a picture.  They had quite a busy task serving hundreds of attendees at each of the meals.
During the breaks, delegates had the opportunity to meet with friends under the trees in the beautiful summer weather.

Following the conclusion of the Congress, Rev Protosinghel Lucian (Coroi) calls the faithful to Great Vespers.
V Rev Archimandrite Mihail (Filimon), Abbot of The Ascension of the Lord Monastery in Detroit, Michigan, celebrated the service assisted by Rev Dn Sabin Pop.
Following Great Vespers, the hierarchs officiated at the dedication of the new Camp Vatra Administration Center.
The family of Lenore Kinnear, who left in her will the first major donation to initiate the construction of this facility.  Included among the family members are Mr Armand Scala, President of the Congress of Romanian Americans (CORA), and The Honorable Thomas Robertson, Ambassador of the United States to Slovenia.
His Grace, Bishop IRINEU looks on as His Eminence reads the Holy Gospel.
His Eminence, Archbishop NATHANIEL proceeded to bless the inside of the building with Holy Water.
Joining the Archbishop inside the building, which will be completed in the upcoming months, were members of the families of the major contributors and Rev Fr David Subu representing Holy Cross Parish in Hermitage, Pennsylvania, whose Shenk Memorial Fund also made a significant contribution to this project.
His Grace, Bishop IRINEU blesses the outside walls of the structure.
His Eminence, Archbishop NATHANIEL explained the project to those present and thanked everyone who contributed more than $120,000 for its construction.
His Eminence presents an icon of "Our Lady, Protectress of Vatra Romānească" to Mr Augustin Vincent who is one of the major benefactors of the building in memory of his late wife Virginia O Vincent who volunteered many years as camp nurse.
His Eminence presents an icon of "Our Lady, Protectress of Vatra Romānească" to Mrs Marina M Ficken, representing the family of Mrs Kinnear.
That evening, dinner was followed by a presentation of song and dance performed by The "Gheorghe Trambiţaş" Orchestra and the "Mioriţa" Dance Ensemble from Chicago, Illinois, for more than 500 people in attendance.

After the performance, the tables were cleared and Romanian dancing went on into the night.
A number of women attending the event were dressed in traditional Romanian blouses.
