The Consecration of Holy Trinity Church
New Westminster/Vancouver, British Columbia

On Saturday, May 22, 2004, His Eminence, Archbishop NATHANIEL and His Grace, Bishop IRINEU traveled to New Westminster (Vancouver), British Columbia, for the consecration of the new church of the parish community of The Holy Trinity.
Joining the diocesan hierarchs at the invitation of His Eminence NATHANIEL were His Eminence, Archbishop LAZAR and His Grace, Bishop VARLAAM, both retired hierarchs of The Orthodox Church of America living in the Vancouver area.

"Shine out! Shine out, O new Jerusalem, for the glory of the Lord has risen on you.  Zion, dance and rejoice!  And you, O pure one, Birthgiver of God, be glad in the Resurrection of Him born of you."

The clergy standing around the altar as the faithful are permitted to walk through the newly-consecrated sanctuary.
Following the conclusion of the Divine Liturgy, the clergy again went in procession to bless the exterior of the new church with Holy Water.
