The Installation of Rev Fr George Ursache as Parish Priest of
The Falling Asleep of the Ever Virgin Mary Church
Chicago, Illinois
September 19, 2004

On Sunday, September 19, 2004, His Eminence, Archbishop NATHANIEL celebrated the Divine Liturgy at The Falling Asleep of the Ever Virgin Mary Church in Chicago, Illinois.  This was His Eminence's first visit to the community since he appointed Rev Fr George Ursache as parish priest on June 1 of this year.
Immediately following the Divine Liturgy, His Eminence presented Fr Ursache to the faithful and reminded both Fr George and the parishioners of the special relationship between the priest and his flock, exhorting them to work together for the growth of the Church and the spiritual nourishment of all members of the parish community.
Following the services, the clergy and faithful proceeded to the home next to the church which the parish has purchased for use as the new parish house.
His Eminence blessed the newly-renovated home.
Assisting Archbishop NATHANIEL were V Rev Archimandrite Roman (Braga); V Rev Fr Constantin Tofan; Rev Fr George Ursache; Rev Archdeacon David Oancea; and Subdeacons John Bogdan, John Lazar and Tom Rosco.
