traveled

Paris,
France,
where
he
participated
in
the
Consecration
of
the
newly
elected
Auxiliary
Bishop
for
the
Romanian
Orthodox
Metropolitanate
of
Western
&
Southern
Europe.

Election

of
the
Candidate,
Archimandrite
Marc,

Marc

acceptance.
He
was
born
in
Paris
in
1958
and
received
his
education
there
before
going
to
the
Sihastria
Monastery
in
Moldova,
where
he
was
tonsured
into
monasticism
in
1992.
He
was
ordained
into
the
Holy
Diaconate
in
1992,
then
into
the
Holy
Priesthood
in
1994.
In
1995,
he
graduated
from
the
Faculty
of
Orthodox
Theology
in
Iaşi.
Since
1996,
he
has
been
serving
parishes
and
monasteries
in
France
and
translating
various
Orthodox
writings
into
French
from
Romanian. |
