On Sunday, November 13, 2006, the clergy and faithful of the Michigan Deanery gathered at Saint George Cathedral in Southfield, Michigan, to celebrate the 25th Anniversary since Consecration to the Episcopacy of His Eminence, Archbishop NATHANIEL.
His Eminence prays the Entrance Prayers as he enters the Cathedral.
At the time of the singing of "Holy God, Holy Mighty, Holy Immortal have mercy on us!"

It was almost 25 years to the day when His Eminence was consecrated to the episcopacy here at Saint George Cathedral on November 15, 1980.

His Eminence is seated to the side of the Holy Altar as the candidate for ordination into the Holy Diaconate, James Craig Goodwin, is led around the Altar by the deacons three times.

Immediately following the Divine Liturgy, a Service of Thanksgiving (Te Deum) was celebrated in thanksgiving for Archbishop NATHANIEL's 25 years as hierarch.

Following the services, the clergy and faithful gathered in the Cathedral Cultural Center for a festive banquet offered in honor of His Eminence.
Guests were entertained during the meal by a violinist who is a Romanian-American music student at a local university.
V Rev Fr Laurence Lazar, Dean of the Cathedral and Michigan Deanery, welcomes everyone and offers introductions and remarks.
After the meal, a short artistic performance began with a quartet from the Orthodox Christian Chorale of Metropolitan Detroit who sang several Orthodox hymns.
The second half of the program featured the "Ţarancuţa" Dance Ensemble, comprised of young people from the Metropolitan Detroit area.
His Eminence, Archbishop NATHANIEL thanks everyone for their wishes, and also for their support of the Archbishop's Charity Endowment Fund (to which the proceeds from this banquet were designated).
