Bishop's Residence at Vatra Romānească Painted
Grass Lake, Michigan
October 3-7, 2005

During the week of October 3-7, 2005, a group several young men, members of Holy Cross Church in Alexandria, Virginia, traveled to Vatra Romānească to paint the Bishop's Residence.
The men, assisted by Hierodeacon Sebastian, are professionals in the construction business and donated their time and labor, thus saving the Episcopate thousands of dollars.
The house, which was built in the late 1890's, still has its original wood shingles which must be scraped and painted every so many years.
