Archbishop NATHANIEL to Participate in Annual Pro-Life March

Grass Lake MI [ROEA Chancery]  –  It has been announced that His Eminence, Archbishop NATHANIEL will join His Beatitude, Metropolitan HERMAN, Primate of The Orthodox Church in America, at this year’s “March for Life” which will take place on Monday, January 24, 2005.

"Every year, the March is held to lament the US Supreme Court's Roe vs Wade decision of January 22, 1973, that legalized abortion on demand in the US,” according to the Very Rev John Matusiak, OCA communications director.  Hundreds of Orthodox Christians participate in this annual event which draws hundreds-of-thousands of Americans in protest of the murder of innocent human life.

His Eminence NATHANIEL has participated in the March for Life in past years, and continues to be a hierarch who actively and vigorously promotes the fundamental Christian teaching that all life is sacred.
