Falls Church, Virginia Parish Continues Search for Choir Director

Falls Church VA [ROEA Chancery]  –  The parish of The Protection of the Holy Mother of God in Falls Church, Virginia (near Washington DC) has announced that they are still searching for a choir director.  Their appeal is as follows:

"Multiethnic Orthodox church in Northern Virginia is seeking a choir director for Sunday Divine Liturgy and other church services when necessary, and who will conduct at least one choir practice each week.  The ideal candidate will be an English-speaking Orthodox Christian who understands the role of the choir in worship, has musical training and four-part choral directing experience.  We seek an enthusiastic, inspirational musical leader who will direct an a cappella choir of about 12-15 people following Orthodox tradition.  Stipend offered is competitive."
