His Eminence Dr Daniel Ciobotea
Enthroned Patriarch of the Romanian Orthodox Church

Bucharest, Romania [ROEA Chancery]  –  The enthronement of His Eminence Dr Daniel, Metropolitan of Moldova and Bucovina and Patriarch Elect of the Romanian Orthodox Church took place on Sunday, 30 September 2007, at Patriarchal Cathedral in Bucharest.  His Eminence, Archbishop Nathaniel of Detroit and the Romanian Episcopate, accompanied by V Rev Dr Remus Grama (Department of External Affairs) and V Rev Fr Laurence Lazar (Episcopate Council Secretary), represented Metropolitan Herman and the Orthodox Church in America at the ceremonies.
